Textile&Home Salon at INTERFABRIC: brilliant premier and excellent organization

From September 7th to 9th, 2022 at the Moscow Expocentre Central Exhibition Complex, as part of the INTERFABRIC-2022. Autumn, the Textile & Home Salon of home textiles and interior fabrics was held. The exposition presented new collections of fabrics and finished home products. The visitors of the Salon enjoyed a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the top manages of the factories, evaluate the quality of products, see the latest production, find new partners and suppliers.
For the first time in the novelties were presented by the largest Russian manufacturers of fabrics and ready-made home textiles: TDL Textile, Vologda Textile Plant (Voteks), Avangard (Yuryev-Polskaya Weaving and Finishing Factory), Kamyshinsky Textile, Fabric Market, Espera Home, Iris Textile, the leading Belarussian enterprises Mogotex, Blakit (Baranovichi Cotton Production Association), Belarussian Len (Orsha Linen Mill), Polesye, Kamvol and others, as well as the profile exposition of Uzbek companies.
Also, for the first time at the exhibition, the Trend Zone of the Salon T&H was organized, presenting new products from Russian, Belarusian and Uzbek manufacturers. Here one could get acquainted with samples of fabrics and visit the stands of enterprises
in the exhibition of the Salon.
In addition, the Creative Trend Zone hosted industry events with leading experts and analysts dedicated to the development of home textile segment in the industry. At the expert session "Trends affecting demand of home textile products" the participants discussed the prospects and trends for the next season, reviewed the range of textiles and their impact on sleep, analyzed groups of sleep products and presented analytics for the category of home textiles on the SberMegaMarket marketplace. The speakers of the event were Svetlana Gadzhimuradova, founder of ATEX, a supplier of non-standard knitted fabrics for professionals and Zhanna Sukhova, manager of the Home Textiles and Apparel product line in the SberMegaMarket marketplace.
The round table "Terra incognita: Russian-made home textiles" which was held by Yulia Belopukhova, editor-in-chief of the Roslenkonoplya.rf portal, attracted great attention of the professional community. Topical issues and prospects for this segment of the industry were discussed by speakers Denis Melekhin, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Strategic Development of TDL Textile, and Vladimir Evgrafov, Financial Director of the Vologda Textile Plant.
The dependence of prints on the product segment was given by experts at the round table "The best-selling prints in bedding in 2022". Also at the event an assessment was made of the coincidence of forecasts from the trend bureau with real sales. The main speakers at the event were Olga Barsukova, a leading analyst at MPStats.io, Alexandra Kaloshina, founder of the Solstudio Textile Group, and Ekaterina Matrosova, marketing director of Shuisky Sitzy Factory.
Interior designer Elena Lagutina held a meeting "Not about decor. What should a designer take into account at the design stage, so that it would not be excruciatingly painful when hanging textiles. The meeting participants analyzed 10 main mistakes when working with textiles at facilities, the nuances of implementing textile projects when installing a "second light"; learned how to properly arrange furniture and lamps, what to consider when installing electric cornices, heard advice on organizing panoramic windows, convectors and heating systems.

For the first time at the exhibition, a completely new format of the event was tested - a technobattle "Natural VS synthetic fillers and insulation" dedicated to the peculiarities of using these materials in the production of clothing and home textiles. The event was attended by the world-famous companies Belashoff (Shchigrovskaya Feather Down Factory) and LLC Thermopol (factories of nonwoven materials TM Hollofiber), LLC Enterprise of Nonwoven Materials (Vyazniki), representative offices of S2 GROUP in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
The results of this work confirmed that holding the Salon as part of the INTERFABRIC exhibition provides an opportunity for Textile & Home participants to get new contacts and new opportunities to expand strategic partnerships and sales geography during the exhibition. Already today the organizers of the Salon are preparing an exposition and an interesting business program for the next season.
